Jules started 5th Element Interiors with a goal of spreading her love of beautifully decorated, functional, and organized spaces. She believes our surroundings affect our mood and how we interact with the world and others.

Her love of design started manifesting itself when she was just a little girl- always busy creating, drawing, and learning useless facts to share with anyone who would listen. In other words, a true Gemini.

She graduated top of her class from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Fashion Design. While in school, she discovered Visual Merchandising while working for Levi's and fell in love. Thus, a new career path was born! 

After over 15 years in Visual Merchandising (from boutiques to managing a giant department store) and a lot of blood, sweat, and (minimal) tears, Jules decided to go for what makes her soul sing- helping others and creating beautiful spaces one wall, one room, one closet at a time.

When she's not painting a wall, hanging art or folding socks, Jules loves being outdoors. Camping, hiking, exploring and traveling are her favorite ways to unwind. (This year, she wants to conquer Mt Charleston once again.) A good book, documentary, crime series or podcasts are her go-to on quiet evenings. 

Jules' favorite color is chartreuse. Some day she will own a '68 Ford Mustang in above mentioned color (will settle for yellow). 

She has a deep appreciation for shoes, apparel and self expression through style.
